La Vida Loca
TRUE STORY/ DRAMA "La Vida Loca" is an award winning short film based on a true story about the Chicano gang life and a young man's search for redemption after his friend is murdered. The aftermath of a gang related murder of a friend unfolds through the eyes of Mexican American high school student Adrian "Diablo" Nava as he tries to cope and figure out what happened. He seeks redemption and an escape from the web of la vida loca, the crazy life, but can he stay away after he meets one of the convicted murderer's accomplices years later? Written, directed and produced by Adrian Nava, "La Vida Loca" was his directorial debut, a student film based on his own life.
