"Take Five" won the Judges' Emerging Filmmaker Award at the first annual 2013 Pictoclik Film Festival in San Francisco!

As a result of winning, we have been automatically entered in the Lomography contest. We received a LomoKino film camera starter kit donated by Lomography to make a 3-5 minute film that will be featured on the Lomography site to be voted on by their international community.

Aztek Studio Films founder and filmmaker, Adrian Nava, will be the 1st Assistant Director on "A Father's Journey," a feature length film based on true events featuring Hollywood actor and the director, David Fernandez Jr. (End of Watch, Paul, Yes Man, Sons of Anarchy, Weeds, Justified), Joey Medina (Original Latin Kings of Comedy, Zombie Strippers!), Lou Pizarro (creator and star of truTV's hit show, Operation Repo), Mayra Leal (Machete, Mission Park) and a talented cast of emerging actors and actresses! Filming begins July 22nd on location in Mexico!

Our newest short film, "Take Five," is an official selection for the first annual Pictoclik Film Festival 2013 in San Francisco, California at the Roxie Theater!
